The wrought iron gates at the entrance to Lythwood's Avellini venue were hand-crafted by Aquilino Avellini – an Italian prisoner of war – and they've been welcoming couples ever since.

Step through them and into a stunning glass-enclosed venue where water features shimmer alongside the grand staircase.
