From 6 to 13… and still choosing Elmo! 🥹💗

Back in 2019, during the very first year of Elmo Events Décor, Chantal booked us for Chloe’s 6th birthday. 🌸

Fast forward 7 years, and Chloe is now 13 years old… and we’re still being trusted to be part of her special celebrations. 🥹🎈

Seeing the little girl from our early Elmo days grow into the beautiful young lady she is today honestly means so much to us. 💕

# RAW MOMENTS.. me in my pj's on a Saturday 😂

Today is officially the FIRST Saturday of the YEAR that Elmo has NO setups! 🥹

And this was completely intentional. We DELIBERATELY didn’t take any bookings because, as much as we LOVE what we do, we also realised just how much precious time we miss out on with our little boy 💙

While other families are going out, making plans and enjoying their weekends together, our weekends usually look very different. They’re filled with loading, deliveries, setups, packing up, collecting, cleaning and preparing for the next event 🎈🚚

Sometimes we look at our baby and realise how many little moments we’ve had to miss because we’re busy building this business. And that’s the part of being a small business owner that people don’t always see 🥺

So this weekend, we chose our family 👨‍👩‍👦❤️
No setups. No rushing. No running around.
Just quality time with our little boy, a chance to rest and recharge before the busiest time of the year. 🥰

Because after this weekend…
IT’S WORK, WORK, WORK! 😂🔥

The busy season is here, and we are ready! 💪🏽🎈
We are so incredibly grateful for every client who keeps Elmo busy - but this weekend, we’re taking a moment to appreciate why we work so hard in the first place ❤️

We arrived home a little while ago after another beautiful matric setup, and what a special trip it was! 💙

A huge thank you to Mommy Brumilda & Daddy for your incredible hospitality. You made us feel so welcome, and it's a reminder of one of the most beautiful things about small-town living – the genuine kindness, warmth, and generosity of the people. We truly appreciate it! 🤍
