GIVING PEOPLE A VOICE in this WORLD made a BIG DIFFERENCE.

It HELPED SHAPE THE BEAUTY and FASHION INDUSTRY AND it HIGHLIGHTED the IMPORTANCE of having DIVERSITY in the INDUSTRY.

BEAUTY BEYOND IMPERFECTION FASHION SHOW 2019 was an event based on showcasing that there is beauty in Imperfection.
That you don't have to look a certain way to be on the runway.

It gave ordinary people the opportunity to walk the runway.

We had people who suffered from liver disease, people with scars left behind because of near death experiences, people who have cancer, vitiligo, people who are transgender, people who are young, old, short, plus size and skinny.
We even had people with with wheelchairs and disabilities on the runway.
We showcased diversity because there wasn't enough diversity in fashion, on the runway or in advertising in South Africa. And we wanted to help change that and we did.
