I never realised my right eye was stronger than my left until I saw this photo of myself! 🥴😅🤣

But today wasn’t about me — it was all about the circus! 🎪
Birthday celebrations!

The team at House of Gather did a stunning job with the décor and transformed the venue into a magical circus experience.

We were honoured to add to the festivities with our pancake station, boerewors rolls, and hearty beef pot with rice. Seeing guests enjoy good food in such a vibrant atmosphere is always rewarding.

One of the things I treasure most is being able to include my entire family in my business journey. Working together, creating memories together, and sharing in both the hard work and the successes is a true honour and blessing.

Last night, my team and I had the privilege of preparing and presenting an 8-course wine-pairing dinner at Plettenvale Event & Wedding Venue. Plettenvale Wines

The setting was absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was magical, and the evening was a tremendous success from start to finish.

I am incredibly proud of my team. Their dedication, professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail made this event truly special. It is a privilege to work alongside people who consistently pour their hearts into every plate served.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making the evening such a memorable experience. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

Still taking in what this past week has held for us. After feeding over 1000 people, we were met with our next challenge — the severe storm in Plett left us without electricity, yet somehow we still pulled off two incredible functions.

We hosted an intimate chef experience for 30 guests at Rockpool Villa and catered for another 80 guests at Plettenvale Wines. Against all odds, every plate went out with excellence, passion, and heart.

What stands out to me most is my team. Watching everyone rise under pressure, adapt, support one another, and still create beautiful food experiences has made me incredibly proud. This team continues to grow stronger, more refined, and more resilient with every challenge we face.

Truly grateful. Truly blessed.

First catering day at the Simola Hillclimb for VIP guests — done! What an incredible opportunity to be part of such a prestigious and well-established event.

Simola Hill Climb 2026 — what an incredible experience!

My team and I had the privilege of catering for over a 1000 people over three days, running and setting up two full catering tents. The feedback from clients and guests was overwhelmingly positive, which makes all the hard work even more rewarding.

This opportunity pushed us, grew us, and reminded me just how powerful a well-coordinated team can be. Everything was carefully planned and executed, and I couldn’t be prouder of every single member of my team.

We’re only going up from here — stronger, sharper, and ready to do it all again next year. 🙌
