Natasha’s little one is already one lucky duckling… or should we say goose? 🪿

We had the sweetest time bringing this Silly Goose baby shower to life, with gingham-covered tables, baskets of fresh flowers, bows, the cutest little goose details and a cake almost too lovely to cut.

Every corner had something to smile at, creating the most darling setting to shower a beautiful mama-to-be and her little goose on the way.

A baby shower this cute? We’re completely smitten.

For Valentina’s bridal shower, the details were plentiful, but the approach was restrained. Lemons appeared amongst soft blue hydrangeas and white roses, pearls were threaded through the setting, and layers of beige, white and blue gave the tables their quiet elegance.

The more playful details were made personal to Valentina, from the Pearls of Wisdom station and Ring Hunt to bespoke stationery created for the occasion. Each had its place without competing with the setting around it.

The result was a bridal shower that felt feminine without being overly sweet, playful without losing its polish, and personal in all the right places. 🤍

A little diary notice as we head into the final months of the year.

There are still a limited number of dates available for celebrations before the end of the year, while my 2027 calendar is already beginning to take shape.

I intentionally take on a limited number of events throughout the year, allowing me to remain closely involved in every celebration I plan and give each one the time, attention and level of service it deserves.

So, whether you’re planning something special for the months ahead or looking towards 2027, now is a lovely time to begin the conversation.

The secret isn’t choosing a “wedding colour”. It’s building a palette with enough depth, contrast and texture that it becomes the thread running through the entire day, from the stationery and florals to the linens, candles and tiniest finishing details.

For ALDO Football Club, we took the game off the pitch and straight into store.

With South African footballers Oswin Appollis, Teboho Mokoena and Aubrey Modiba joining guests for an exclusive signing, every detail was designed to make the experience feel unmistakably football.

We traded the traditional red carpet for an astro-turf runway, created a custom signing station and brought the team sheet to life with a statement backdrop featuring each player’s name, position and shirt number. Branded footballs and finishing touches carried ALDO Football Club throughout the space. ⚽️

For Juliana’s very first trip around the sun, we turned the table into the sweetest little strawberry patch. 🍓

Gingham pinks met strawberry reds, tiny berries found their way between the florals and sweet treats became part of the styling itself. From the knotted napkins to the berry-covered menus and that larger-than-life strawberry welcome, every detail had a berry lot of fun to it.

When you’ve planned enough events, you start seeing a room differently. Your eye catches where guests will naturally gather, whether a table needs another few centimetres of breathing room, how the light will change by dinner, whether the music belongs to the moment and if every element in the space is speaking the same visual language.

Most of these decisions will never be pointed out to a guest. In fact, we’d rather they weren’t.

They should simply walk in and feel that everything works.

That instinct has been built through years of planning, styling, adjusting, problem-solving and learning that sometimes the tiniest change can completely alter the way an event feels.

It’s part of what we bring to every YGTG event: not simply making a space beautiful, but knowing how to read it. 🤎
