Sognage started as an idea to build a festival stage indoors. With ALT., the walls come down.

Most of you know us, we’re your friendly neighbourhood Sognage! If you do know us, you know that we’ve been trying to push the boundaries of indoor eventing for 5 years now. We’ve hosted innumerable international artists in almost every genre imagineable. We’ve had the honour of hosting hundreds of local artists, people we have come to call friends. We’ve seen entire scenes in Gauteng thrive… and… we’ve hosted hundreds of thousands of you!

Over those 5 years we have constantly been upgrading, tweaking, improving and changing our space; built a second space and even rebuilt that twice. We are builders!

We deal in crowds. We deal in that cool stuff that happens in a fleeting moment where everyone (from techs to DJs to bands to staff to audience) are at the top of their game and you feel like you’re lifted off your feet. We deal in good people; and that’s what the Cherch, Emalyth and Norwood teams, and their audiences, are.

We’ve never been more ready as a greater crew to do justice to this kind of project.

Sognage started as an idea to build a festival stage indoors. With ALT., the walls come down.

Most of you know us, we’re your friendly neighbourhood Sognage! If you do know us, you know that we’ve been trying to push the boundaries of indoor eventing for 5 years now. We’ve hosted innumerable international artists in almost every genre imagineable. We’ve had the honour of hosting hundreds of local artists, people we have come to call friends.
