Código Tequila closed out the year and welcomed the next with a series of culturally relevant activations that placed the brand at the centre of celebration, community, and nightlife.
The run began at Tropical Disco at Cape Town High School, an LGBTQ+ event defined by bold self expression and high energy performances. DJs, live dancers, and singers set the tone, while the Código truck anchored the experience, serving Margaritas and Palomas that seamlessly tied the night together in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
On 26 December, Harringtons shut down the street for a 2000s block party, soundtracked by iconic hip hop, R&B, and alternative hits. Código Tequila took centre stage with its cocktail truck acting as both a visual focal point and a crowd favourite, driving strong engagement as consumers connected with the quality of the tequila from first sip to last track.
The momentum continued on 27 December with Harringtons Buddies, a high energy house party within an LGBTQ+ celebration. The Código truck drew consistent traffic throughout the night, serving tequila cocktails and slushies that kept the crowd returning, reinforcing strong visibility and demand in a culturally relevant space.
The year closed at Grand Café’s New Year’s Eve “Jungle Fever”, where a dedicated Código bar delivered a focused liquid to lips experience, introducing the brand to new consumers through sampling in a high energy, DJ led environment.
On 1 January, Sexy Groovy Love carried the energy into the new year. With sampling, brand presence, and a shaded Código area for guests to recharge without leaving the vibe, the activation combined comfort, visibility, and engagement, a confident start to the year.
