BREAKING | SHEBESHXT TRIAL DATE SET

Lekompo musician Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, popularly known as Shebeshxt, will stand trial on 17 May 2027 after his case was postponed.

The State has brought 22 charges against the musician, including:

🔴 Four counts of attempted murder
🔴 Robbery
🔴 Assault
🔴 Possession of an unlicensed fi***rm and am******on
🔴 Culpable homicide
🔴 Reckless driving

The case will now proceed to trial at the Polokwane Regional Court.

BREAKING | SHEBESHXT TRIAL DATE SET

The trial of popular Lekompo musician Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, popularly known as Shebeshxt, has been set to begin on 17 May 2027 at the Polokwane Regional Court.

Chauke faces 21 charges, including four counts of attempted murder, theft and malicious damage to property, among others.

He appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 10 September 2026, for pre-trial proceedings.

Chauke and his new legal team, led by Advocate Mutheiwana Sydwell Sikhwari SC, initially sought a two-month postponement to allow them more time to prepare for the case.

The request was dismissed, and the pre-trial proceedings went ahead.

MINNIE DLAMINI SUES MACG FOR R2.5 MILLION OVER PODCAST COMMENT

Minnie Dlamini is reportedly taking MacG to court, seeking R2.5 million over a comment made about her on Podcast and Chill.

Dlamini claims the remark “what if uyanuka” damaged her reputation and may have contributed to the collapse of a R897,000 Nivea campaign.

She is seeking R1 million for herself and a further R1.5 million for Women for Change.

The dispute is now headed to court, where the claims and their alleged impact will be tested.

This legal battle could get very interesting.
