Dinner at Restaurant 197 was a pretty good way to start our stay at Le Manoir. 🍷

We got to try a few of Ken K Phuduhudu signature dishes, starting with a Tuna Amuse Bouche, followed by a delicious Chicken Roulade, a perfectly cooked Beef Fillet, and finishing things off with a rich Chocolate Volcano that had the best gooey centre for some. 8.5/10🤤

If you’re looking for a spot for a special dinner in Joburg, this one is definitely worth checking out, the best part for us? No need to drive home because our room was just a few steps away. 😂 Now that’s my kind of staycation.

Just checked into Le Manoir in Northcliff for a little Joburg staycation and first impressions… 😍 This place feels like you’ve escaped the city without actually leaving it.

Think French-inspired charm, beautiful gardens, cosy hidden corners, gorgeous suites and Restaurant 197 right on your doorstep. 🇫🇷🥂 If you’re looking for a romantic escape, a foodie weekend or simply an excuse to switch off for a night, this might be one to add to the list.

Now to explore, eat and pretend I’m somewhere in the French countryside. 😂
