It’s been a while since I’ve posted and, in all honesty, it’s been terribly difficult to do so. In 2020, my father passed away. He was the most creative person I knew; a fixer, maker, a painter, an imaginer. My father had a fascinating life story and a brain to match it! This platform was born mostly due to my love for the fact that he passed his creative genes on to me. I could never have imagined how hard it would then be to just carry on creating when the last purposeful item I made was his last Father’s Day card. It’s a feeling that is indescribable and painful. It’s taken me nearly two years to face it. This quote spoke volumes to me and it crossed my path around Easter-a time of rebirth. Fitting, no? I can only say it is my father who sent me this; my Signor George! He shared his love of creating with so many and I know he would want me to continue to do the same. I will “rebuild around the loss [I] have suffered”. I will slowly create again and share again. Thank you to those who have followed, supported and loved. Thank you to my Signor. 🙏🏻♥️
