Established in 2007 as NB Events, we were situated in the heart of East London, South Africa. Our founder is a young and dynamic business woman, who is passionate about every event that we have co-ordinated. Over the years we have evolved and Micah’s Décor and Events has been born and is still exceeding our Clients’ expectations through our creativity, agility, building long lasting relationships

Just when you think the day is done... the next transformation begins. ✨

Wednesday night’s mission was to prepare for the AFIIA Gala Dinner.

While delegates wrapped up Day 3 of the main conference, our team was already busy behind the scenes, setting the stage for a completely different experience.

Out with the conference setup.
In with Royal African elegance.

200 tables. Hundreds of place settings. Gold accents. Feathered centrepieces. Candlelit details. A brand-new photo backdrop. And plans underway for a fairy light entrance worthy of the occasion.

From proteas and strelitzias to tribal textures, handcrafted details, and a stage designed to spark conversation, every element came together to create a space worthy of welcoming delegates from across the continent.

EPISODE 5: The Overnight Transformation 🌍✨

Out went the previous setup. In came a fresh vision.

Tribal-patterned chairs. Handcrafted details. Strelitzias and proteas proudly representing South Africa. Wooden textures. Traditional beadwork. And a bold new backdrop featuring the signature blue and green colours of IIA.

From tiny gold animal accents to tribal-inspired centrepieces, every detail was intentionally chosen to tell Africa’s story in a new way.

Because for us, one setup is never enough.

Every day of this conference deserved its own moment.

And by sunrise, the venue was ready to welcome delegates once again.
