What better way to welcome spring than with a beautiful day spent amongst some of Johannesburg’s gorgeous gardens, all while supporting a worthy cause. 💚

The Johannesburg Garden Club is celebrating an incredible 75 years of gardening for good, with their Open Garden taking place on 17 & 18 October.

Some of the most beautiful events at Houghton 1938 are created through relationships built on trust, shared standards and a genuine love for what we do. 🌸

One of those very special relationships is with Pippa of Pippa’s Foods, one of our preferred suppliers and a woman who has become such an important part of the Houghton story.

For this beautiful women’s corporate event, Pippa took care of both the décor and the catering, creating an experience that felt considered in every detail. From the abundant tables and exquisite florals to the beautiful food, everything worked together effortlessly within the elegance of Houghton 1938.

But there is so much more to Pippa than her extraordinary work.

She is a mum to two little girls, a talented businesswoman, a creative, and quite simply a beautiful person, inside and out. The standard she manages to deliver time and time again is exceptional, and it is a privilege to watch her bring her ideas to life in our home.

There is also something rather special about the connection between Pippa and our very own “Lady Houghton”, Jackie. 🩷
