Can I share something that makes all the planning, packing and tiny elf details so worth it? 🥹❤️

These messages.

I still get that little flutter when someone tells me they’ve opened their box and can’t wait for their children to see it. Or when a mom says, “I don’t have to think of things — you have solved this for me.”

I’m a working mom too. I know how much we want to make December special… and how tired we can be by the time everyone’s finally in bed.

We want the magic. We’d just quite like the elf to contribute an idea occasionally. 😉🎄

Cotton Fudge started with friends asking me for help with their elf scenes. I loved coming up with ideas, and they wanted to create those special moments without having to think of something new after a full day of work.

That’s still the heart of it for me.

When I’m working on a kit, I’m imagining a little face discovering the scene in the morning. I’m thinking about the giggles, the excited calls for Mom to come and look… and the mom who gets to enjoy it with them, with the planning already done.

So when you send me a message saying your children loved it, or that it made your December easier, please know how much that means. I read it. I smile. Sometimes I get a little teary. And yes, I absolutely show my husband. 😂❤️

🎄❤️ Can I tell you a little Christmas story?

Six years ago, I was simply a mom who loved making Christmas magical for my children.

I loved dreaming up cheeky little elf adventures.
I loved those sleepy morning faces lighting up when they discovered what their elf had been doing overnight.
I especially loved the giggles that followed. ✨

But my friends kept saying the same thing…
“Candice, HOW do you come up with all these ideas? I'm exhausted by bedtime!” 😂

Christmas magic is wonderful.
Being the person who has to CREATE that magic every single night? That's another story!

So I started making Elf Activity Boxes for my friends.
And that little idea grew into Cotton Fudge. ❤️
