Stimela Events Presents: A Vintage Aviation Live Shoot
We are delighted to present a Vintage Aviation Live Shoot in partnership with the Classic Flying Collection at Springs Airfield on Saturday, 22 August 2026.
This exclusive photographic experience will feature three vintage aircraft, both in the air and on the ground, providing a variety of unique photographic opportunities.
Featured Aircraft:
✈️ Boeing Stearman PT-17 (Star of the Show)
✈️ De Havilland Tiger Moth
✈️ North American Harvard
Please note: The itinerary below represents our current planned programme and is subject to change depending on operational requirements, weather conditions, and aircraft availability.
The event will begin with approximately 30 minutes of flying displays, allowing photographers to capture these magnificent aircraft in their natural element from the ground.
Following the flying session, the aircraft will return to the airfield where they will be carefully positioned outside the hangar alongside their crews for a series of staged vintage aviation scenes and portrait opportunities. During this session, photographers will be able to get up close to the aircraft, providing excellent opportunities to capture details, portraits, and atmospheric vintage aviation scenes.
After a refreshment break, we will conclude the day with a night shoot, offering the chance to create dramatic images of these historic aircraft under artificial lighting. Don't forget your tripod!
