Things couples often forget about the ceremony but shouldn’t!
1. Have a Detailed Rehearsal: Even a quick run-through helps everyone know where to stand, walk, and when to move. It eases nerves
2. Allow Extra Time: Guests are often late so plan to start 10–15 minutes after the stated time
3. Keep Guests Comfortable: If outdoors, provide water, fans, umbrellas, or blankets depending on the weather
4. Have a Backup Plan: Always have a wet-weather option or indoor backup for outdoor ceremonies
5. Music Timing: Make sure your DJ or live musicians know the exact cues for processional and recessional
6. Assign an Usher/Helper: Someone should guide family to their seats, and keep the first two rows open for Parents, Grandparents and bridal party
7. Personal Touch: Add readings, unity rituals, or personal vows to make it memorable
8. Save On Costs: Choose décor and floral arrangements that can be easily moved from the ceremony to the reception for a second use
9. Transport: Confirm the distance between your getting-ready location and the ceremony venue, and arrange suitable transport to ensure a smooth and timely arrival
10.. Enjoy the Moment: Pause, breathe, and soak in the walk down the aisle, it goes by so fast!
