🇵🇹 Dia de Portugal 2026 🇵🇹

On Sunday, 7 June, Núcleo de Arte e Cultura proudly joined the Dia de Portugal celebrations, taking part in the vibrant float parade that travelled from Casa de Madeira in Alberton all the way to our club.

Following the parade, we welcomed members of our community to a celebratory lunch in honour of Portugal, its culture, and its people. We were privileged to be joined by His Excellency Carlos Costa Neves, Ambassador of Portugal to South Africa, Dr. Afonso Laginha, Consul General of Portugal in Johannesburg, and our Club President, Candy da Silva.

It was a wonderful day of unity, tradition, and pride, bringing together generations of our community to celebrate our Portuguese heritage.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this day such a memorable occasion.
