We had the privilege of bringing the Karoo to Coast theme to life for the Eastern Cape Tourism Awards Gala Evening, using a blend of proteas, fynbos, lush greenery and locally inspired florals and décor.

Designed for 300 guests, this celebration showcased the natural beauty and diversity of the Eastern Cape—an evening we won’t soon forget.

We’ve also opened bookings for January to March 2027 for those who like to have their lives together.

Already-booked dates may still have décor available to hire, but the Fabulous Functions crew is officially at capacity and cannot squeeze in any extra setup, florals, styling, or event work.

A burned-down house in the middle of the veld. A farm workshop turned into a wedding venue for one unforgettable night.

Black details, candlelight everywhere, touches of wild fynbos, and a couple who trusted the process completely.

The ceremony was kept simple — a beautiful arch, wooden benches, open veld, and the kind of quiet atmosphere you can’t really recreate.Then we transformed the farm workshop into a warm, moody space filled with flickering candles and celebration.

And honestly? The best part was the bride and groom themselves — so relaxed, so easy-going, and such a pleasure to create for.

Proof that with the right people, a little vision, and a lot of candles… almost any space can become magic.
