What a weekend to remember at Francine’s Venue and Farmhouse, a gem tucked away on an operating citrus farm at the foothills of the majestic Mariepskop Mountains.

This unique setting, with sweeping views of the Blyde Canyon, offered the perfect backdrop for a truly magical celebration.

From the moment guests arrived, they were wrapped in heartwarming farmstyle hospitality delivered by Sonja and the incredible Francine’s team.

Their attention to detail, warm professionalism, and generous spirit made everyone feel completely at home — yet utterly spoiled.

The entire weekend was a glowing example of what happens when passion meets professionalism.

The wedding weekend was nothing short of joyful, filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments.
The charm of this venue lies not just in its breathtaking natural beauty, but in its soul — and that was felt by all who attended.

Cocktail hour in the romantic, fairy-lit courtyard was an enchanting experience.
Guests sipped and mingled under umbrellas that offered shelter from the gentle late autumn sun, while evening fires crackled softly, adding to the warm and inviting ambiance.

Dinner was served in the old original to***co shed, beautifully transformed for such an occasion. Long tables were laden with Francine’s signature high-standard farmstyle cuisine, a feast that drew endless praise from our guests.
From seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to the artful presentation, it was clear every dish was prepared with love and pride.

A Magical Family-Style Wedding Weekend at Francine’s

This past weekend, we celebrated the beautiful union of Paul and Louise with a joyful, family-style wedding at Francine’s Venue and Farmhouse, set on a citrus farm with breathtaking views of the Blyde Canyon.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour in the fairy-lit Mountain View area, feasting on the most exquisite harvest table—complete with home-baked sourdough breads, creamy babaganoush, and more farm-fresh delights.

Later, we moved to the charming old to***co shed for a night of farmstyle feasting, fireside warmth, and dancing under the stars.
