Glen Carlou Pop Up Wine Event 🍇

What an absolutely spectacular evening filled with knowledge, fun, fabulous food and incredible wines presented with such passion and professionalism.

Thank you to our guests who joined us for this pop up event, Chef Liam and team for the perfect bread boards to accompany the wines, from for organising a very successful event, and of course a big thanks to Pieter from for your knowledge and passion, we look forward to welcoming you back again!

A Celebration of the Things We Love❤️🌿

Valentines Dinner at The Harvest House was an explosion of flavour as we celebrated Valentine’s Day a little bit differently this year.

Our intimate group of guests sat down at tables laden with white table cloths and candles, ready to celebrate this evening with their loved one over plates of excellent food and great wines - here’s the kicker though: they had no idea what to expect from dinner.
Our guests trusted us with a 6 Course Mystery Menu, brilliantly prepared and executed by Chef Liam and his team.

Each course was put together with intent and, of course, love!

Each dish was introduced to them only minutes before the plate arrived in the form of an elegant little note, explaining the elements they were about to be presented with. Watching our guests excitement as they received each new note was wonderful!

Thank you to all those present that trusted us and indulged in the meals presented. We look forward to another Mystery Evening - soon!

With much anticipated rain and cooler days, brings unique challenges to our little town (as an open air eatery, we know all about it 😂)

Today is the day you would have generally found the friendly guys from Kruger to Canyon Newspaper handing out your favourite local “read-all-about-it” on the fourways through town.
Not to worry though, they have come up with a solution, as have we with our brand new covered patio, to ensure that you still get your beloved newspaper today - collect yours from a number of restaurants throughout Hoedspruit today, including The Harvest House 🗞️ ☕️

Homemade Pasta Sheets 🤩 🍝

Not only are we serving you beautifully fresh pasta made in-house, but we also do so with a smile 😉

These sheets are used for our Open Lasagne - one of Chef Liam’s signature dishes.
The fresh pasta sheets are coupled together with our homemade basil pesto, a medley of mushrooms and tender chicken strips (or go without to make it a vegetarian friendly dish)
As per all our other dishes, nothing about this dish is pre-cooked. All the fresh ingredients are cooked and assembled on order, guaranteeing you a fresh and tasty meal 🌱

Any bad day can be rectified by a bowl of pasta 🌸
