We’re hitting the pause button… ⏸️ The season has wrapped up, and our net houses are now resting. The winter season picking will reopen when the next crop is ready. 🧡🌸❄️

Clearing and pulling up all the dahlia plants from the net house at the end of the season is always a little bit of a sad time… but then I remind myself that we’re just making room for my favourite winter garden. Ranunculus!

We are well and truly on the last gasp of this seasons dahlias. Time goes by so quickly, before you know it, it’s time for winter garden preparations to expand. There are still a few beauties in the picking patch but they are dwindling quickly with the added cold brought on by all the rain… it’s nice to sit back and reflect on a successful bloom season, the fun we’ve had, and the friends we’ve made. 🧡🌸💕
