Kirsty and Adam!! Where to start with your AMAZING wedding I am not sure… We had your date on the books the longest of all weddings to date!! And it was sure worth the wait!! Thank you, Lesley, for hunting down GO Events – bush weddings are so up our alley, this wedding was truly therapy for us!!

Leeuwenbosch Country House - Amakhala Private Game Reserve was home to our team last October… and we loved it!! A little chapel of stone brought to life with subtle florals and greenery started the afternoon off with vows and many wows!! Followed by canapes in an old garden boasting established trees - a delicious finger food spread, full bar and a marimba band set the mood as guests mingled and enjoyed the setting sun.

Reception, snugly fit into a clearing in the African bush was an adventure for our team, and a truly mesmerizing spot that transformed magically. The evening was enjoyed under a stretch tent and canopy of fairy lights, banquet tables and cross back chairs, rustic wooden dance floor brought this installation together perfectly for a luxury bush wedding.

The Advocates chambers Makhanda welcomed members from across the province to enjoy an elegant evening at the Monument. And that it was!!! Thank you for choosing GO Events to bring your evening together.. it was such a giddy pleasure watching this superb venue transform!!
Welcoming guests with a red carpet, champagne and a string quartet, our team created and brought to life an enchanted dinner setting nestled under a canopy of draping, greenery and fairy lights… this was personally one of my favourite event and one I believe held emotion in the final product… Quite often when setting up an event, we have an idea of how the outcome will be, this installation our excitement grew with every single piece of greenery hung… and every stand of fairy lights suspended!! We brag about our team.. but again GO Events team’s hard work, team spirit and love for what we do shone in this installation…

Autumn last year Kirsty (Walker) & Thomas Knowles were married at Fort d Acre.
From Dubai, over telecons this amazing wedding was coordinated... the ex*****on was exciting for our team as it offered technical aspects within the installation.

With a contrast of heavy greenery and carbon filament bulbs suspended above our rustic banquet tables gently lighting up rows of white florals in bud vases alternating with tables heavily laden in greenery and an abundance of pillar candles in vases dramatically needing no lighting from above. This was an elegant wedding that held bold charm.. we loved it!!
Watching our team work as a team should and solving the unknown challenges that came our way is an inspiration and boost of excitement to look forward to for our future weddings. Thank you Kirsty and Thomas!!!

80’s – ALL NIGHT… and then some…!!
Ross Purdon , it was such an absolute pleasure coordinating your 60th birthday, your clear vision and excitement throughout the planning was filled with unstoppable zest!

Swaying away from weddings, this venue was transformed like never before. A full stage for the band, the brightest of draping, the 80’st of décor completed with food and coffee carts…
Guests arrived having dusted off their muscle shirts and leg warmers, teased up hair and bold make up to rock and roll by Centrestage. Be there or be square!

Your barn styled wedding of oranges and forestry lightboxes combined with elegant draping was a true example of how a venue can be transformed!! sharing in your moments and bringing your wedding to life was an absolute delight!! Bringing together everyone's ideas and being part of your 2022 Matric Dance was an absolute pleasure!! Grade 11 girls - 100% on effort and teamwork to transform Amazwi Museum into a wonderful Midnight Garden Dance!
