🌿 WELCOME TO GIBALAND SHONGWENI 🌿

After years of road and boom complications, and with a national road now being built on the Pinetown side of the gorge, we decided it was time to create our own way in.

So… we did. 🛣️🌿

Our new 1km entrance takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the Pinetown side and brings you straight into the hills of Shongweni and into the heart of what makes GibaLand so special.

With controlled access along the new road, there’s no need to worry about navigating a single-lane road with oncoming traffic, we have this covered. It’s your new route into the gorge. ❤️

There is a R50 per person entrance fee, which is fully redeemable at our restaurant.

Come for the gorge, stay for the fresh menu, explore the trails, chase waterfalls, ride, hike, camp or simply switch off from the outside world.

Same GibaLand. Different route. Fresh menu. All the vibes. 🌿❤️

We worked long and hard to make this road happen, and we want to say a huge thank you to The Grass Warehouse and our incredible team for helping us get this together. 🙌

You’ve seen what we’ve done with our little paradise during our time here in the gorge, and as we continue to grow GibaLand, we’ll continue to do what we do best, keeping this beautiful place natural, wild and special. 🌿

We’ll keep improving the road and entrance as we grow, and we’re excited about what lies ahead.
