Last night we were spoiled with a night at The Hilton Bush Lodge! What a lovely treat in a tranquil setting with all the comforts and luxuries one could hope for. This venue captures the bush in all the best ways and the people are absolutely passionate about making your stay as special as possible! A great meeting over delicious brekkie followed a refreshing run in this gorgeous setting. If you're thinking of getting married at a bush venue, definitely check out Hilton Bush Lodge! It's accessible yet feels like you're miles away. Or... even just for a break away or honeymoon spot. We loved the fact that this venue really caters for all your needs - open but undercover ceremony area, stunning predinner verandas and lounges, fireplaces and even late night smores around the campfire! This weekend marked our last wedding...can you believe it?? We're hanging up our fairy wands and sending love to ALL our wonderful couples, we've absolutely adored planning your weddings and working with such great suppliers. Phew, 10 years ..how time has flown! Dani and Brett, thanks for being a showstopper and such a high note to end off on! This is us, signing off xoxo

"Faye, the wedding was so spectacular. We had such a special time, and everyone we have spoken to has relayed the beauty of the day. I'm still quite baffled how the day remained unpretentious and simple, despite its complexity and elegance. What a joy and blessing it all was. We were so overjoyed the whole day (as I'm sure you could see) and I'm quite sure our family and friends had a very special honouring experience.

I am so grateful for you and your commitment to orchestrating a wondrous day for Sean and myself, our families and our guests. Your patience, your attentive ear and your careful and caring words made an event typically so overwhelmingly chaotic, into something entirely approachable and enjoyable! You have such a grace about you, something that you'll no doubt carry with you into your unfolding plans/vocation if you happen to move away from this work anytime soon.

So…I know there is a stereotype that marriage takes away a man’s freedom…but here are 10 unexpected marriage benefits for the GUYS:

1. You get to be the HERO by simply removing a spider, protecting her from a bat in the house or opening an extra tight jam jar for her
2. You no longer have to do all the cooking…and you’ll often get some extra nutrients thrown into a meal
3. Your washing is no longer being done by yourself (or your mum!) although sometimes a little help would be appreciated!
4. You have someone to care for you when you’re sick - man flu...is this a real thing?!?
5. You have an excuse to watch a ‘chick flick’ and secretly enjoy it :)
6. Studies have shown that married people live longer – woohoo!!
7. More presents! Birthdays, Christmas, Anniversaries, Valentines, Father’s Day……..and those little surprises us ladies just love giving
8. You might actually save money – she’ll probably talk you out of buying that ridiculously expensive car so you can save a little for the rainy days
9. You’ll have more dinner parties, friends over and family lunches because she’ll make them happen
10. PLUS…You get to share the little moments in life with the person you adore!
