We offer a free service for kids ranging from 8 -18 years old and all levels of sailing experience. The main focus is to build confidence on the water, learn new skills, practice skills you have already learnt and of course to have fun while doing it. Sailing is every Saturday morning from 8am-12pm all year round and we do have club boats to use free of charge. We encourage novice kids who haven’t
sailed before to do a course through Sail Africa first before coming to us, to gain the basics but this is not mandatory as we do have places for kids to start out as crew to see if they like it. At PYC Youth we like to also encourage team building and is not uncommon to jump on the rubber duck and go for an ice cream and a hot dog or sail to the sand banks and catch cracker shrimp. We have lots of new and exciting activities lined up for the year to come. Throughout the year we also host a variety of sailing camps.
