An Ode to the Dreamer Behind the Chapel
Some places are built.
Others are dreamed into existence.
The Chapel at Idullies is one of those rare places.
There is something beautifully unexpected about its design — the old-world character, the simple symmetry, the little bell tower, the weathered textures, the timber and stone, and the way it sits so naturally amongst the trees. It feels as though it has always belonged there. Yet every detail was imagined, designed and brought to life by one remarkable person.
Behind the Chapel is not simply a designer or an owner.
There is a dreamer.
Someone who could see beyond an empty piece of land and imagine a place filled with love, laughter, music, flowers and the sound of wedding bells. Someone who understood that a wedding venue should be more than beautiful — it should have soul.
The Chapel is a reflection of that vision.
It is distinctive without trying to be grand. Romantic without being overly ornate. Timeless, yet completely its own. And perhaps most beautifully, it feels personal — because it was born from a deeply personal dream.
Today, couples walk through those doors carrying their own dreams, and somehow, this little Chapel becomes part of their story too.
