As a DJ, I’m at peace with not being booked at every place, venue or music festival that i would love to play.
But I must admit that in the beginning of my career. It bothered me a lot.
But as I grow in this industry I’ve realized that
Sometimes I’m simply not the right fit for that room and that’s okay.
Different crowds. Different tastes.
Different energy.
I don’t believe in dragging venues or promoters on social media because I wasn’t booked.
That’s not integrity, that’s noise.
I believe in earning my place.
In letting the music speak.
In growth over entitlement.
In respect over resentment.
The right rooms will find me.
And when they do, it won’t be out of sympathy
it’ll be out of merit.
