This is a little delayed, but we had an absolutely wonderful supper on the 16th of September! Perfect weather, and a buzzing village full of floral enthusiasts set the scene perfectly for our flower-filled menu. A couple of pictures from the evening below - and big thank you to Flowers on the Stoep for the beautiful blooms that adorned our table, and really shone against our monochrome place settings. Not all courses were captured photographically (it is always more important to serve hot food than capture it!), but below you can see our blush-pink G&T, with rose and cucumber tonic, saffron-infused cauliflower veloute, spaghetti with nasturtium pesto from the garden, and a fun take on a trifle - strawberry and elderflower. (The main course - beef medallion and short-rib ragu, served on lightly spiced carrot puree, with cavalo nero and hasselback baby potatoes is sadly absent, but I am assured it was delicious!)
