Blisters for Bread 2026 is coming to Green Point on Sunday, 16 August, and we'd love to see you there.

In association with Lucky Star and hosted by the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA), this annual walk brings our community together to take a real stand against childhood hunger.

Choose a 5km or 10km route, then stick around for live music from Paxton, Steven Lee Lewis, and Sketchy Bongo, plus medals, refreshments, and a whole lot of heart.

Here's what makes this extra special: 100% of your R125 entry fee goes towards feeding vulnerable schoolchildren.

🚶‍♀️✨ Entries are officially OPEN for the PSFA's 58th Blisters for Bread in association with Lucky Star!

📍 Cape Town – Join thousands of Capetonians on Sunday, 16 August 2026, at the Common Fields, Green Point (next to the Green Point Cricket Club), for this iconic walk that fights childhood hunger.

💙 Your R125 entry fee will enable PSFA to provide 23 vulnerable learners with a cooked breakfast and lunch for a day. Your steps = their meals.

👟 Choose your route:
- 10km walk – starts 07:30
- 5km walk – starts 08:00

🎶 Expect live music, family fun, food stalls, and a vibrant atmosphere. Plus, every entrant gets a medal and refreshments courtesy of Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages.
