Meraki

[may-rah-kee] (adjective)

A Greek word, is often used to describe what happens when you leave a piece of yourself (your soul, creativity or love) in your work and we are committed in doing exactly that. When you love doing something, anything, so much that you put something of yourself into it.

My name is Caro and I am so glad you stopped by! I am a floral designer and stylist from South Africa that loves creating beautiful and lush flowers for weddings and other events throughout Pretoria, Gauteng and beyond.

MY FLORAL STORY

I had always wanted to work from home and run my own small business and I am so proud to say that my wishes dreams came true. 5 years ago I quit my job in the IT Industry and in July 2014 I completed a certificate in Décor and Floral Design. I found a passion that I didn't know I had, and I've never felt so happy and at home.

I am inspired by the purity and beauty of flowers every day, and I enjoy working with colour and texture to create my floral designs. I feel so privileged to be a part of this industry and to be able to pursue my dreams.

Apart from being a floral designer and business owner I am also a wife and a mother of two. I have been married for 27 years and I am very fortunate to have the love and support of my loving husband and amazing children.

I’m passionate about creating something as unique as every client that I work with. My favourite part about the whole design process is really getting to know my clients and understanding their style and what they really want to see on their perfect day.
