What a difference from a week ago in The Western Cape. The weather was perfect in Stellenbosch at the Salene wedding venue. It hosted the fantastic wedding celebration of Andrew & Jules. While they had done the legal bits in the UK just before flying out to SA, I had the priveledge and honour to officiate their wedding ceremony itself.

This was done in front of family and friends with a large number of guests flying in the from the UK from Jules side.

This fantastic couple exchanged promises and rings and proceeded to celebrate their commitment to each other with the excited guests.

I wish the couple a stunning honeymoon on the Garden Route and a long and happy life together.

My second wedding yesterday took place at the stunning Belair Pavilion outside of Paarl. Trives and Saarty exchanged their wedding vows in front of the most elegantly dressed group of wedding guests I have seen at a wedding in ages. The large group of guests braved the rainy weather to bear witness to the promises the couple wrote themselves.

With a wedding party of enough groomsmen to man a soccer team and certainly enough bridesmaids for a basketball team.

Trunk Events were the organisors for this wedding and as always when working with them, everything looked amazing and ran on time.

Yesterday was a day of travelling. My first wedding for the day was between Glencairn and Simonstown. At a family members home, Brendon & Mischca exchanged their vows in front of family and friends. With stunning view of the Simonstown Harbour and False Bay, I had the honour once again to officiate and impart a message for the couple.

The weather was rainy and cool, but provided a moody atmosphere for the wedding.
