So Saturday was fun, started out with a legalities only wedding for Kevin & Jessica.

That was followed in the afternoon with a full wedding for Keegan & Magan at a venue I have never officiated at before, namely Eikenhof Estate in Bottleray Hills.

Family and friends gathered in rainy weather at a really stunning venue. They all witnessed the exchange of wedding vows between this really happy couple. As always it was my absolute pleasure and honourto officiate for this couple.

I wish them both the happiest of marriages.

So Saturday was fun, started out with a legalities only wedding for Kevin & Jessica.

That was followed in the afternoon with a full wedding for Keegan & Magan at a venue I have never officiated at before, namely Eikenhof Estate in Bottleray Hills.

This past weekend saw the start of the wedding season for us. With three Weddings over the weekend, it all started with the honour I had of officiating for Chad & Samantha at the always stunning Suikerbossie Restaurant in Hout Bay.

The weather was perfect and Samantha looked radiant and stunning. The couple exchanged some of rhe most prepared vows I have ever heard in over 3000 Weddings. Their heartfelt commitment was celebrated by family and friends.

I wish them a long and happy life together.

This past weekend saw the start of the wedding season for us. With three Weddings over the weekend, it all started with the honour I had of officiating for Chad & Samantha at the always stunning Suikerbossie Restaurant in Hout Bay.

This weekend was unusual for winter, I was priveldged to officiate the full wedding ceremony for Suné & Christel. Two beautiful ladies from Namibia who had family and friends present who had traveled all the way from windhoek to witness and share in the celebration of their wedding.

Somerville Wines in Stellenbosch hosted this very special event.

Also on the weekend I had two other legalities only Weddings, much more common in winter.

The weather for the ladies was dry, but rather cold. The event however was full of love and warmed the soul to see two people completely in love with each other make the commitment to live as a marry couple.

I wish them a long and happy life together and much success in both their careers.

So winter is our quiet period for big ceremonies, but Camille and Adrian decided that this was the perfect time for them to call family and friends together at the stunning The One Heaven and Earth just outside of Caledon. While winter weather is a gamble, it paid off in spades. The entire setting, weather and people made for a fantastic moment in their lives.

It was my absolute pleasure and honour to officiate their ceremony and to get them legally married. They exchanged vows to the delight of all present. A 9 year courtship is now a firmly committed marriage. I wish the couple a long and happy life together.

I also received this fantastic message from them today.

"As we look back on our wedding day, we just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you. Your hard work, talent, dedication, and attention to detail helped turn our dream into a reality, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

So winter is our quiet period for big ceremonies, but Camille and Adrian decided that this was the perfect time for them to call family and friends together at the stunning The One Heaven and Earth just outside of Caledon. What a difference from a week ago in The Western Cape. The weather was perfect in Stellenbosch at the Salene wedding venue. It hosted the fantastic wedding celebration of Andrew & Jules. While they had done the legal bits in the UK just before flying out to SA, I had the priveledge and honour to officiate their wedding ceremony itself.

This was done in front of family and friends with a large number of guests flying in the from the UK from Jules side.

This fantastic couple exchanged promises and rings and proceeded to celebrate their commitment to each other with the excited guests.

I wish the couple a stunning honeymoon on the Garden Route and a long and happy life together.
