I've always disliked being called strong because it implies that I've always had to recover from some or other tough situation in life. And along the pathway of my life, as I'm sure you can relate, there have been many.

But I've come to appreciate the beauty in being called tough, strong, or resilient because my journey is one that I should be proud of. We should own our toughness because it tells the story of our life.
