We are on the grounds of the Jan van Riebeeck Hoërskool and we host the Boerneef Collection of South African art. As a property, it has been there for over three hundred years, from the time it was granted to Andries de Man in 1693, over four “morgen” (about four hectares) in extent. The name that it was given means “well-intentioned”. The garden has a natural spring and water features. Today Welg

emeend is the most unique function and conference venue in Cape Town. Our Venue is perfect for Weddings, Birthday Parties, Conferences, Year End Functions, Memorials and any occasion to celebrate. For outdoor events we offer a big and beautiful garden with stunning views of Table Mountain.
