Our parties are held monthly on the last Saturday of every month at Mercury Zonnebloem. We aim to give Cape Town a much-needed boot in the stones and provide you good people with a night that DOESN'T play wimpy fey indie, pseudo-retro electro synth pop, hippy Trance or soul-less 'R'n'B'. We play music with soul and balls and, we want you to bring yer dancing shoes, leave your attitudes at the door

Our in-house DJs Liam Revenge (UK) and Rockin' Rael Futerman (SA) will be spinning THE best in Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Reggae, Garage, Rockabilly, Punk, Surf, R&B, Girl Groups and other danceable oddities. We will also be hosting monthly guest DJs, so if you think you've got what it takes to get our feet moving, send our admins a top-ten playlist and get behind the SSA! Expect to hear us playing the likes of Elvis, Otis Redding, Desmond Dekker, Gene Vincent, The Temptations, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Clash, The Cramps, Jimmy Cliff, The Ronettes, New York Dolls, Sam and Dave, Ike & Tina, The Isley Brothers, MC5, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, The Crystals, Iggy and The Stooges, Dave Clark 5, Slade, Booker T & The MGs, Smokey Robinson, The Sex Pistols, The Jam, The Beat, Curtis Mayfield, Sam Cooke, the Specials, Dexys Midnight Runners, Eddie Cochran, The Sonics......
We will also be holding a monthly twist contest, with prizes ranging from free booze (huzzah!), to records, to tattoo vouchers, to top clobber!
