Champagne, a collaborative brand founded in 2013, has made a significant impact in the electronic music culture and events space of South Africa. Originally, the brand started as a SoundCloud page, featuring monthly exclusive mixes by local artists. However, in 2015, the brand took a significant leap forward by hosting its own club night at Vice City in Cape Town. As time progressed, Champagne fou

nd its new home at Modular Night Club in 2017, where it has played a pivotal role in shaping the club's development. Champagne's unique sound, which embraces a nostalgic approach to house and techno music, has captivated audiences and grown in popularity. Today, Champagne is widely regarded as a curator of some of the most innovative and exciting club nights in the city, with a particular focus on the eclectic side of club music. Past acts include:

This month sees the return of Norwegian selector DJ Fett Burger (S*x Tags UFO), headlining the Lido floor with support from residents DJ Okay and White Nite.

In Modular, Hong Kong-based Fergus opens with an extended set, followed by Lightbeams and Ibadan Records affiliate Theodor Luv, who makes his Champagne debut closing the room.

Two rooms, two distinct energies, both exploring the strange and wonderful edges of club music.
