Joining us for the BLVQ IRIS Birthday Show is the incredibly talented Saskia Bormans , performing alongside the EU4RIA jazz band consisting of Jason Hammond on bass, π‘ͺ𝑱 🎢 on keys & Jayden Croes

With a voice inspired by jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Melody Gardot, Judy Garland, and Julie London, Saskia brings warmth, elegance and heartfelt storytelling to every performance 🎷

A graduate of the Waterfront Theatre School and a recipient of the Aviva Pelham Singing Award, Saskia has captivated audiences both on the theatre stage and through her love of jazz. Her unique blend of vocal excellence and theatrical expression promises a performance that is as moving as it is memorable 😍

In preparation for our Obz First Thursdays series, we want to open up the stage for the amazing talent our city has to offer ✨️

We're looking for:
- Hip-hop artists
- R&B / Soul artists
- African-folk artists / bands
- Jazz artists / band
- Hip-hop DJs
- House DJs (Deep house & Afro-house)
- Gqom DJs

If you fall within these genres and believe your talent deserves to be shown on our roster, hit us up and let's cav what you got 😎

Steps:
1.) DM or your artist name & genre
2.) Send a link to your top 3 songs/mixes or videos of your past performances

Once completed, our team will review the submissions and make a selection of the best candidates βœ…οΈ
