On Saturday, Ambrosia Catering prepared a beautiful selection of drop-off platters for a 70th birthday celebration in Rondebosch. ✨

The spread featured vibrant vegetarian bites, Camembert with green fig preserve, mini beef Wellington with garlic aioli, smoked chicken crostini, tender chicken schnitzel, herbed mushroom-filled chicken and tandoori skewers with tzatziki.

Colourful bruschetta topped with whipped feta, mushrooms, roasted aubergine, sweet peppers and balsamic tomatoes added the finishing touch.

Beautiful food for memorable celebrations and a perfect feast for 70 wonderful years. 🥂

This past Saturday, Ambrosia Catering had the pleasure of preparing a generous drop-off platter spread for a 21st birthday celebration in Bergvliet for 40 guests. ✨

The menu was filled with beautifully prepared favourites — tender chicken schnitzel, chicken breast stuffed with herbed mushrooms, tandoori chicken skewers with tzatziki, colourful vegetarian bruschetta, soft bao buns with Korean sesame chicken and teriyaki beef, sticky Asian chicken wings, mini beef & Guinness pies and curried chicken & apricot skewers.

For dessert, guests enjoyed delicate mini lemon meringue pies and chocolate profiteroles.

The perfect way to celebrate a 21st birthday with family and friends. 🥂

Today, Ambrosia Catering had the pleasure of catering a private British Consulate General Luncheon Buffet for 15 distinguished guests.

The menu brought together classic flavours with a refined touch — pan-fried beef fillet served with green peppercorn sauce and brown mushrooms, alongside chicken breast filled with wild mushrooms and finished with a tarragon-scented jus.

To accompany the mains, guests enjoyed glazed baby carrots, Tenderstem broccoli and golden roast potatoes, together with a fresh summer salad of avocado, feta, olives, roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, tomato, cucumber and red pepper, dressed with a bright lemon vinaigrette.

And for a suitably indulgent finale: individual Cape Malva pudding rounds, crowned with caramelised orange rind and served on silky vanilla custard. 🍊✨

Last night, Ambrosia Catering had the pleasure of catering a private Laser Logistics home event in Rondebosch for 20 guests — an intimate evening filled with beautifully presented finger food and plenty of flavour.

The menu moved from smoked chicken crostini with caramelised red apple and teriyaki beef bao buns, to seafood salad cups, mini Boeuf Bourguignon, Thai green chicken curry tasting spoons and crisp Asian butternut & coconut triangles.

And for something sweet? Vanilla pannacotta with berry topping and decadent chocolate brownie squares. 🍓✨
