Is it just me or do Fridays not feel the same anymore? I am feeling abit trapped and frustrated that I can't go explore in nature or have a dip in the ocean.

A throwback and kind words from our boho bride Ashley. As soon as I met with Ashley and heard her boho vision and choice of colours my heart leapt.

Coming up with unique combinations that suit my who my clients are and creating florals as well as styling tailored to their vision is all part of the fun for me. It must be the designer in me 🙂 I also love the education part where I get to educate and advise my clients on what flowers will work and are in season and will work in their budget is all part of my process and I love that my clients get to walk away with some knowledge.

A little fewer trends and more you

Don't get me wrong I love trends and I believe in keeping up to date with trends and incorporating them into my work but what I believe even more in is creating a day and a look that reflects you and your partner.

Here are some tips on how to do just that:

🌷What colours are you drawn to?
🌷 What is your "vibe" as a couple
🌷 How do you want your day to feel?
🌷What is important to you both about this day?
🌷What season is your wedding in and is it outdoors or indoors or both?
🌷What is your budget realistically for flowers and decor?
🌷Are there any flowers you absolutely love or highly dislike?
🌷Do you have a venue and if you do what is the look and feel of it.

Once you have jotted down some thoughts around these questions, you will be able, to sum up, the overall look and feel of your day and then you can go to Pinterest and start pinning away with a clearer vision of the direction you want to go in.

This is just a small hint of the beginning process that I walk through with my clients but it is a helpful start. Let me know if you have questions I will gladly assist you.
