Who are the judges and how are they selected?

GOOD QUESTION 🤓
Our Judging panel consists of a broad range of cannabis experts, professionals & lovers; including Cannabis and Growing enthusiasts, Medical Professionals, Respected Rastas, Canna-business Owners and everyday stoners.
We hand-select our judges from the cannabis community all around South Africa. 🇿🇦
We then go to great lengths to screen and ensure that the Judges selected match the spirit and ethos of the Stoned O’lympics.
We aim to maintain a diverse group of judges who are extremely dedicated to both the cause and the task of judging.

You’ve been asking; “How do I become a judge?”

And our answer is; “COMPETITION TIME!” 💥

Have you been wondering how YOU could become a Judge?

Well, we’re giving away one judging slot to a loyal fan this year.

You can enter in 3 ways:

1. Like this post and follow .za - then leave a comment saying “ judge “ 🧑‍⚖️

2. Create a post on your feed or stories, tag .za | and show us how big a fan you are of

3. Send us a motivation via email - [email protected] - with the subject: Home Growers Cup Judge 2024

Ts&Cs : Entries close on Saturday, 11 May at midday, 12:00 pm. Only 1 entry per person, per entry mechanic will be accepted. You can enter through all channels to increase your chances of winning.
Winner will be contacted with more information on Saturday afternoon via the channel they entered on. Judging box will be sent out for delivery on Monday.
The winner must be available to test and be part of the Home Growers Cup judging process from 13-30 May 2024. Open to South African residents, 18 years and older only.

*The winning judge will also receive a complementary ticket to our event in Cape Town on 1 June 2024 - transport not included.
