WELCOME TO THE 6TH FIRE 🔥

At the heart of every gathering, there is the fire. It holds us, warms us, purifies us and lights the way forward.

And so we begin by lighting this sacred flame — one we will tend together over four nights of community and ceremony, through our presence, our breath, our stories and our shared care.
The fire is lit by our elders — the keepers of the land.

Led by Elder Rubin, son of the Citrusdal Valley and our devoted firekeeper for the past five years. A true guardian of flame — he has kept a living fire burning in his home for over a decade, never allowing it to go out. Deep respect.

With opening prayers from Elder Rubin, Chief Zebulon of the Sonqua lineage of the !Xam people, and Gershan in his homeland — joined by the Huni Kuin shamans of the Amazon, along with Benson Arendse and Yvette Anderson — we gather in blessing.

Together we honour the ancestors, the land, and one another — opening this 6th Fire with love, intention and unity.

Tribe In begins in just over a week.
Limited tickets still available.

We can’t wait to see you there. 🔥✨

This year we’re excited to introduce a new addition to Tribe In —
THE BOKASHI WORKSHOP, FOOD RITUAL & SACRED COMPOST CEREMONY 🌱♲

An artistic, culinary and composting collaboration honouring the Living Food Cycle, indigenous practices, and our sacred relationship with Mother Earth — co-created by Benson Arendse, Miche Fabre Lewin and Zukisani Mrwetyana.

Join us to nourish body and earth, awaken the senses through vibrant foraged and naturally grown foods, share earth-based rituals, and explore food recycling practices that regenerate living soil across kitchens, gardens and communities.

The Living Food Cycle will consist of 3 Manifestations

✨ Bokashi Composting - Food Recycling Workshop with Benson
Benson introduces composting with a Bokashi method. His passion is rescuing organic materials from the waste stream, turning them into compost, and returning that living soil back into gardens, farms, and neighbourhood growing spaces. Learn how to compost food, why it matters and how organic waste can become a tool for food security, community pride, and local resilience.

✨ Feasting the Senses - A thanksgiving food ritual hosted by Zuki
This ritual invites participants into a deeper, more intimate relationship with nourishment, natural elements, and communal gratitude. Designed as a slow, sensory ritual, it brings together foraged foods, indigenous herbs and naturally grown plants in a fire-cooked offering within handmade ceramics.

✨ Sacred Compost Ceremony - An artistic intervention with Miche Fabre Lewin
Eating, composting, growing food are part of the flow of living processes. Through an artistic, convivial and ritual frame this Ceremony makes visible the cycle of the sacred foodweb of interdependence. Returning food to the Earth is an offering of natural composts to feed the living soil which grows vital food for the health of bodyminds, biodiverse habitats, farming landscapes, water systems and planetary ecosystems.

Together we cultivate greater awareness around waste, closing the loop by returning vitality to the Earth. 🌿✊🏽✨

Huni Kuin Returning to Tribe 🌿

We are deeply excited and honoured to welcome back the Huni Kuin from the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, in collaboration with .kayawai.africa.

Their last visit was a powerful meeting of worlds — Amazonian wisdom merging with the spirit of the Khoi San beneath the African sky. A sacred exchange of medicine, song, and ancestral knowledge.

The Huni Kuin will be sharing their Amazonian medicines of Sananga and Rapéh in an opening ceremony on Wednesday, followed by the option to sit in a private Kambo ceremony on Thursday morning.

This year we have the honour of receiving a great pajé, Siã Hui Bei, the son of Augustino Ikamuru, a renowned Huni Kuin pajé in memoriam.

Siã carries the ancestral prayers of those who walked before, a vast library of sacred chants. Pajé Siã will be supported by spiritual leaders Isarewe and Txana Muru. We have the opportunity to receive from the cord of the forest, direct transmissions. Siã will offer a handful of 1:1 healings on Thursday, be sure to book in advance as they will be limited. Details provided shortly.

This is a rare opportunity to gather with keepers of ancient traditions — to learn, connect, and receive the teachings of the forest. We are honoured to share this experience once again, bridging ancestral wisdom for our modern journey.

Other artists and full lineup coming soon.
We can’t wait to welcome you. ♥️✊🏽✨
