The SA Air Force Technology Show promises to be a historic and inspiring occasion. One of the most anticipated highlights will be South Africa’s first legally sanctioned Drone Swarm Show, where hundreds of synchronised drones will illuminate the night sky above the Overberg in a spectacular display of light, motion and advanced programming. This breathtaking performance will offer a visual experience rarely seen in the country and demonstrate the remarkable possibilities of modern technology.
Equally significant is the return of a major air display to Air Force Base Overberg for the first time in nearly 15 years. Visitors will have the privilege of witnessing some of the South African Air Force’s finest pilots demonstrate extraordinary precision and skill in a range of aircraft.
Beyond the sky, the event will showcase groundbreaking innovations in aviation, robotics and unmanned systems. Attendees will experience remote-controlled aircraft demonstrations, drone technology exhibits and interactive displays highlighting the rapidly evolving world of aerospace engineering. These immersive exhibits are designed not only to entertain but also to educate and inspire the next generation of South African innovators.
