Happy Birthday from the team
To Gallo Music, the Twins - Shona Phansi and Shona Phansi

🎶✨ THREE MILESTONES. ONE INCREDIBLE MUSICAL LEGACY. ✨🎶

Today we celebrate something very special…

🥂 Gallo Music turns 100!
🎂 The Twins celebrate their birthday!
🎶 And Shona Phansi (Get Down) celebrates 30 years since its first release!

In 1996, Shona Phansi introduced Twins — Lucky and Nhlanhla Shabangu — to the world with a song that would become far more than just another release.

It became a love anthem. A memory. A soundtrack.

"Love is gonna find its way…"

And 30 years later, those words still find their way into the hearts of people who grew up with the music.

What makes this milestone even more special is that Shona Phansi was part of the extraordinary Gallo catalogue — a musical archive that has carried South African stories, voices, rhythms and memories across an entire century.

From vinyl to cassettes, CDs, radio, dance floors and now streaming…

100 years of Gallo.
30 years of Shona Phansi.
And a lifetime of music still to come.

And then there are the Twins — still here, still creating, still making people move. ❤️🎶

Happy Birthday Lucky & Nhlanhla!
Happy 30th Birthday to Shona Phansi!
And a massive Happy 100th Birthday to Gallo Music thank you for keeping the soundtrack of our lives alive.

Some songs age.
Some songs become history.
And some songs simply refuse to get old.

SHONA PHANSI… GET DOWN! 💃🏾🕺🏾🎶

Gallo confirms that its centenary is being celebrated throughout 2026, while its own archive notes the Twins’ return with a Shona Phansi remix in 2025.

🚛🔊 A LITTLE NOTICE FROM SNM GIG RIG

As much as we really don’t want to increase our prices, unfortunately the fuel pump has other ideas! 😅

Our rigs don’t run on good intentions — we can’t make a noise without a full tank! And with the latest fuel cost increases, we simply have no choice.

📢 From 1 October, our Rig Fuel Charge will increase.

We’ve kept the increase as low as we possibly can, because our goal remains the same:

Keep the costs as low as we can…
and the VIBE as HIGH as we can! 🔊🔥

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to choose SNM Gig Rig to bring the sound, energy and party wherever you need it.
