For those that really enjoy the way heavy metal shaves the noise from the soundscape of the mind,
yet are also suckers for beautiful melodies, especially when interwoven into said metal,
then you might have just stumbled upon something worth taking a good listen through... MoshMallow!!

Some chick dressed in pink was prancing around the stage,
growling into the mic one minute,
and flooring people singing super catchy choruses the next,
with a team of dudes shredding faces off whilst having the biggest smiles on theirs...
Like some kind of pink metal Oprah handing out enjoyment to the masses in the moshpit...

Personally, I really enjoyed the way I found that enjoyment was being experienced by me when I was experiencing their show.

Whether watching or just gazing at the ceiling listening, I found the sound and vibe blissfully stimulating.
Very rad live energy!

A wistful, melancholic, heavyish, yet pretty kind of sound...

Lyrics that tell stories interweaving between an array of topics, weighted at a rough ratio of 1% light-hearted to 99% staight up thought-provoking and heart-string-tugging.
With references to mythology, some seemingly inspired by the struggles of life, and at times i get the feeling they are perhaps merely commentary on the journey of what cannot be changed yet must be lived.

Together with walls of distortion and waves of intricate melodies woven into the fabric of the sound,
the music seems to be crafted in a very intentional way of guiding the listener through.

It has a darkness to it, yet a subtle inherent optimism, too is present.

4 energetic individuals that live up to the name.
Pretty damn FUNKY and rather darn KIFF indeed...

Rocking, with a tad more than just a hint of swag,
and a good dose of power channelled into each of the elements delivered by the band.

They are quite an interesting dynamic, where their excitable and playful energy definitely rubs off on the crowd.

A good team on stage... On one song I noted how the bassist assisted with percussion whilst open hi-hat surgery was been performed,
and at some point the lead guitarist seemed to challenge the drummer to a staring contest mid jam..?

An intriguing flavour of a kind of funky hard rock n roll.

'Play some Slayer' yelled someone from the crowd.

But no... Instead, a bluesy fuzzy somewhat psychedelic kind of sound emanated from the direction of The Wells and Barr Travesty, whom were currently on stage...

With lyrical content that tells stories in quite an out of the ordinary and abstract sense,
stitched together between what feel like some trademark instrumental jams,
they are a laid back yet tonally interesting vibe.

The amount of fun they are having whilst performing together is quite obvious, and rather contagious...
