The vision isn’t always clear at the start but once it’s completed you understand every step.

Last nights dining experience for the loveliest couple for date night.

This was the main course of Lamb rack with butternut purée, potato mieulle fieulle and beetroot mire poix.

My camera decided to go out of focus at the start but it really did remind me that sometimes we lose focus but somehow things always works out in the best possible way.

A 5 course dinner completing a day of delicious food for my guests in Simbithi.

I haven’t done a full day villa service in a while but when a special guest requested this for last weekend I jumped at the chance. It really is something to be a part of all the meals for the day from breakfast to dinner. Menus carefully curated and prepared for a full dining experience.

After a drumming circle this beautiful house was filled with music in the evening as everyone sat down to a well deserved dinner. A fantastic group and a beautiful day.

Yesterday’s client had us for the whole day serving up delicious food in Simbithi. This is just a taste of the breakfast served we also had a smoked salmon platter as well as a delicious local fruit platter.

Our little family has lost a very special part of the team. May you rest in peace our Nox.

As many of you know we have a small team who regularly do our events. It makes it special and creates a connection and friendship. If you have had event with us you would have met our lovely Nox she always had the biggest smile, never passed up an opportunity for a picture and always threw in a sneaky dance when there was a good song.

We celebrate you today my friend may you fly high, gone far to soon you will be missed. Thank you for being you.

We brought the floating canapés and mini desserts to a special birthday in Umdloti just over a week ago.

Last week Thursday I was invited into a brand new beautiful home to serve a 4 course dinner.

The table was set beautifully with care and incredible detail. The space was ready to welcome everyone home in all of its incredible glory there are no words to do it justice. At the end of a busy 4 days I had the pleasure of creating this dining experience in Zimbali.

What an absolute pleasure serving these incredible guests two Sundays ago. I grabbed the decor, set the table and served up fresh margaritas before seeing a 4 course lunch for the birthday boy.

This group made the 4 days worth it with the kindest compliments that make every single minute of preparation worth it for a private chef who was definitely feeling the long week.
