Your wedding day moves fast. Here’s how to make room for the photos that matter most:

✨ Write down your must have moments.
Think about who you want photos with and which memories you want to preserve.

✨ Plan your timeline with your photographer.
Share your vision early so you can work out how much time you will need for portraits, family photos, and travel between locations.

✨ Build in a little breathing room.
Allow at least 15 extra minutes at each location in case things run behind.

✨ Put your most meaningful photos first.
A hug from your mom. Your dad’s happy tears. A photo with your grandparents. These moments deserve space in your day.

TWO COUNTRIES, ONE HEART AND A LOVE STORY BEHIND THE LENS✨

At 18, I arrived in South Africa for the first time and fell in love, from Johannesburg to Durban, where I first saw the Indian Ocean. At 25, I left Moscow to make this beautiful country my home. Its wide open landscapes, breathtaking mountains, and especially the Garden Route captured my heart. Now, as a wedding photographer, I get to capture love in the places that first inspired mine.

I love both countries equally. Russia will always be my homeland, my place of strength, and home to my mum, my dad, and the family who raised me, whom I’m deeply grateful for. South Africa became my chosen home. From my first visit as a girl fresh out of school to returning after university, this country has helped shape the woman I am today. It has taught me resilience, how to adapt, and why it’s always worth having a Plan B, C, and D. Both countries will always be a part of who I am TODAY ✨

Some ceremonies are short, while others include hours of meaningful traditions and rituals. The guests, emotions and moments all shape your final gallery.

We want to preserve those beautiful memories, rather than stop selecting photographs simply because we’ve reached a number. ✨

Christian wedding 🤍

Every time we photograph a Christian wedding, we feel a special atmosphere. There is so much meaning and tenderness in the shared prayers, words of blessing, and promises made to one another.

We want to preserve that feeling in photographs: the grace of each movement, the elegance of the details, and the warmth of moments that can never be repeated.

This beautiful couple was absolutely breathtaking. Photographing them felt so meaningful because, throughout the day, we could see the love in the way they looked at each other and how much they enjoyed simply being together. It was a privilege to capture a love so naturally and beautifully expressed. 🤍

What happens when the groom wants to surprise the bride? 🥹🤍

We’ve spoken about first looks before, but this one felt extra special.

Usually, we have the groom facing away, allowing the bride to see him from behind before he turns around.

This time, we reversed it. ✨

The groom approached his bride while she was facing away, seeing her before she turned around to see him. He wanted to surprise her and I loved how powerful and beautiful that little change felt.

That anticipation… knowing your person is right behind you, but waiting for the moment you finally see each other. 🤍

These two beautiful people looked absolutely gorgeous, and we had so much fun capturing their wedding. Looking back at these photographs brings me so much joy. 📸✨

A wedding brings together photographers, planners/coordinators, MCs, and other vendors. A shared plan helps everyone work together smoothly.

We align our photography timeline with the coordinator’s or MC’s schedule, then add moments outside the main programme, especially morning preparations, since our coverage often starts long before anyone arrives at the venue.

We share it with the couple, too. Here’s why it matters:

You know when we’ll arrive, what happens next, and how the photography fits into your day. If you forget anything, you can simply check your timeline.

🤍 Keeping both partners informed
Sometimes we plan mainly with the bride or groom. Sharing the timeline helps both partners know what to expect and when to be ready.

🤍 Dedicated time for creative portraits
We plan time for your couple portraits so you can enjoy these moments without rushing or missing important parts of your celebration.

THE ART OF NATURAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ✨

What creates the best wedding photographs?

Documentary photography or gently directed shots filled with movement and emotion?

After years of photographing weddings, we’ve noticed that most couples are stepping in front of a professional camera for the first time. They aren’t expected to know where to look, what to do with their hands, or how to move. And often, they simply don’t know how they’ll look in photographs.

That’s why guiding our couples is such an important part of our work. A little suggestion about how to stand, where to turn, or a movement to try can make all the difference. Sometimes, it’s simply giving them a reason to smile at each other. These small prompts help them feel comfortable, build confidence, and let their real emotions come through.

Of course, spontaneous moments are irreplaceable too.

The smiles, the hugs and the happy tears, all deserve to be captured. But saying “just be yourselves” isn’t always enough to help someone relax in front of a camera.

And here’s the interesting paradox. Sometimes, a little direction creates the most natural photographs.

For us, the best results come from a balance of observation and gentle guidance.
