We’ve put together this little guide to explain how our event pricing works, including:

📅 Your first day/use is charged at the full hire price
✨ Additional days/uses are charged at 50% of the applicable rate
🎭 Rehearsal days are FREE as our little incentive to make booking with Dazzling Props even easier! 💕
📋 All arrangements must be discussed and agreed when the booking is made.

Where props are used more than once during the same booking, additional charges may apply.

This is especially important for events where the same props may be used for multiple performances, displays or occasions during the booking period.

A little reminder about hired props ❤️

We thought it was important to explain something about our rental business, especially because we work from home.

When you hire props from us, they are not simply items that can be returned whenever it is convenient. They are part of our rental stock and are often booked out to other customers immediately afterwards.

If your rental is due back at 11:00, we need those items back by 11:00. We understand that life happens, and we will always try to be reasonable where circumstances such as bad weather cause a genuine problem. ❤️

However, once the agreed return time has passed, the items are still being used by you and are unavailable for another booking. An additional rental charge will therefore apply.

It doesn't matter whether you are hiring a car, trailer, tools, equipment or party props — the principle is the same. You are paying to use something for an agreed period, and once that period ends, it needs to come back.

Working from home does not mean that we are available to receive returns at any hour of the day or night. We still have bookings to prepare, props to clean and check, customers to assist and a business to run.

We love what we do and we genuinely try to accommodate our customers wherever we can. But being a small home-based business doesn't mean our time, stock and agreed rental periods are less important.

So please, when hiring from us, help us keep things running smoothly by respecting the agreed collection and return times. 💕
