Gaby & Jeff’s intimate winter wedding at Langdon Hall felt like something out of a storybook. Just days before Christmas, the grounds were blanketed in snow and bathed in golden hour light that made even the coldest day feel warm. Their day was full of quiet moments, heartfelt emotion, and the kind of beauty that only winter can bring. What made it even more special? It was the first time their families met—Jeff’s from Ontario, Gaby’s from British Columbia—coming together for the first time to celebrate something truly magical.

Jaclyn & Shauna's wedding was truly an honour to be part of. The deep love these two share for each other, their friends and family, is so touching. I'm so happy to have been able to celebrate with them and capture these irreplaceable memories for them to relive for a lifetime. One of my favourite moments was when the brides poured a champagne tower on the wraparound porch of the historic Cottonwood Mansion as the golden sun glowed behind them. I especially love that they added a personal touch by creating a vintage-inspired photo booth moon prop to help capture fun wedding memories.

Tylor & Eric’s wedding was a serene celebration with a wonderfully unique twist. They kept things low-key and authentic, skipping traditions that didn’t resonate with them. Their ceremony, held in a peaceful clearing in a nature reserve, felt intimate and personal as guests stood or sat wherever they felt most comfortable.

Eric’s love for beekeeping was beautifully woven into the day, from his bee pin to honeycomb wine glasses and the sweet wedding favours—jars of his own honey! In a touch of irony, Eric got stung by a wasp during the ceremony, proving that even nature has a sense of humour.

And speaking of laughs, both grooms’ moms unknowingly showed up in the same dress, creating a moment that had everyone smiling. This day was proof that weddings don’t have to be elaborate to bee extraordinary. 🐝 Swipe through for the magic!

I'm not a great dancer (don't make me prove it), but as a wedding photographer, I want to remind couples planning a first dance (especially if it's choreographed) to remember that a dance performance isn't just about what your body is doing. Don't let it show on your face that you're concentrating on your choreography. Have fun with it and let your guests see on your face that you're feeling great! Your photos will look better too. 😉📸

Jordan & Adam's backyard wedding was NOT your typical backyard wedding. Their family farm set the scene, which was the perfect location not just because of its sentimental value, but also because it's so visually stunning, you'd swear it's a fancy wedding venue. What stood out most to me about Jordan & Adam's wedding day is how emotionally charged the day was. From the first look, to family photos, the vow exchange to speeches, each and every part of the day unfolded with the biggest, most genuine smiles of pure joy, loving embraces, and softly falling tears. I often describe a wedding as a rollercoaster of emotion and their day exemplified that perfectly. Jordan & Adam and their families were so beautifully vulnerable and expressive with their emotions that day. It was such a privilege to be trusted to capture the story (and rollercoaster 🥹) of their wedding.

Putting people at ease is so important to me as a photographer there to document vulnerable moments. I'm fact, in a 5-star review Jordan left for me, she said, "We had never met Ben before our wedding day but had guests come up to us and ask if he was a friend because we were so comfortable around him," which is a huge compliment and means a lot to me. 😊 Thanks again to Jordan & Adam for allowing me to be part of your gorgeous, emotional farm wedding. It was truly a treat and a privilege, and could not have happened without the epic team of vendors. 👇

Emily & Adam’s wedding at Grey Silo Golf Course was a day full of love, laughter, and heartfelt moments. The modern rustic charm of the venue, with its exposed wood beams and vaulted ceilings, was the perfect mix of casual charm and romance for a celebration bursting with family and warmth.

Surrounded by the nearby historic farmstead, we captured wedding portraits that blended timeless beauty with playful energy. The couple's family brought an incredible mix of humour and heartfelt stories that turned each speech and toast into unforgettable memories.

Swipe through to feel the magic of this special day!

After 12 years of photographing weddings full-time, you'd think I'd seen it all. But Ashley, Jocelyn, and Laura's commitment ceremony taught me that love still finds ways to surprise and inspire. 🌈

Capturing a relationship this vibrant and multi-faceted was a joyful challenge. Posing three beautiful souls—each a unique part of a whole—meant rethinking everything to make sure every moment felt true to them.

A warm summer day at what is now Wrenhouse by Stella set the stage, complete with personalized touches like D&D dice favours (talk about rolling a crit on love!). I also made use of a prism to create rainbow light over the triad during the ceremony, and it felt like a perfect nod to their beautifully q***r identities.

Swipe through to see how beautifully diverse love can be! 🏳️‍🌈✨

Christina & Nigel’s wedding at Vieni Estates was filled with so much love, joy, and raw emotion.

From the tearful moment when Christina’s father walked her down the aisle to the heartfelt hug he shared with Nigel at the altar, every part of the day was rich with emotion.

The couple's personalized vows brought everyone to tears as they shared stories of their connection and the adventures they've been on together. And when it came time for the speeches, the love and laughter flowed freely, bringing tears of joy to both the couple and their guests.

It was truly a day to remember, celebrating the depth of their love with everyone they hold dear.

When I'm photographing two people who are so clearly overjoyed to marry each other, I can't help but feel happy. Jennifer & Jeff didn't stop smiling the entire duration of their brunch wedding at . Adorably, the couple helped each other get ready, before we hit the town for photos. The smiles continued in large part due to the humour and joy expertly brings to officiating a wedding ceremony. I loved celebrating with Jennifer & Jeff and wish them a lifetime of happiness! ❤️

When people tell you that rain on your wedding day is good luck, are they just trying to make you feel better? Honestly, I feel like it is good luck. It's a shame to move your outdoor ceremony plans last-minute, but if you're like Sarah & Cameron who planned to have an indoor ceremony all along, the rain didn't get in the way of their day all that much. We even made the best of it and made good use of their swanky clear umbrellas for some epic photos. I'd say we lucked out. ☔️ What do you think about rainy weddings?
