I am all about having a great time and enjoying the company of others! My days are filled with taking care of my home, my three fur babies, and capturing the stories of everyday people! I do anything from capture a family and their lifestyle to the saying "I Do" wedding days. I love capture the raw emotion, that is something you cannot pose. Editing this beautiful session at the homestead had me thinking. Some honest thoughts as summer comes to an end that I want to share.
I cannot help but feel gratitude for a lot of things. This was a very busy year. Of work, gardening, flower farming and photos and more. My goal has always to have a piece of land for me and Luke to make our own. I also wanted the land to work for us. I think for a lot of people, it’s hard when goals aren’t met almost immediately. And that’s been hard for me to realize as well. I want everything to be an instant success. But as I sit back today and edit my sessions, I came to the realization that each year we have progressed little by little. We expanded the garden, we started my small flower farm, we raised livestock for food and to sell. It is becoming a dream come true. And it didn’t happen over night and is far from finished. Luke and I have been working so hard almost everyday. But also, we wouldn’t be where we are if we didn’t have support from amazing people. So each of you that book a session with me, whatever progress you see in the future, is because of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
