C Bao: 10 Years of Hustle & A New Chapter 🎉

— Annie, Chung & Their Team: From Setback to a Multi-State Food Journey

From a small tent booth to expanding across multiple states—this journey hasn’t been easy!

C Bao was founded in 2013 as a restaurant, but when reality proved tougher than expected, Annie & Chung made a bold move in 2015, shifting to street markets and starting over. Some days, they worked 18-hour shifts, even running two markets in one day:

🌞 Morning at Smorgasburg – Bringing the best bao to NYC’s food lovers.
🌙 Night at Queens Night Market – Serving up bold flavors to the late-night crowd.

🔥 Year after year, we kept pushing forward—expanding into Japan Fes, Dragon Fest, and many other major food festivals, reaching even more food enthusiasts!

💪 2021 was our toughest test. Annie was diagnosed with breast cancer, but she never gave up. While undergoing treatment, she continued remotely managing C Bao, optimizing operations, and ensuring the dream moved forward, while Chung and the team held it down on the front lines.

🚀 2025 marks a brand new chapter!
We’re starting in Atlanta first week of April with Panda Fest and expanding into more outdoor markets across different states, bringing C Bao’s bold flavors to new cities and food lovers everywhere!
