The End of 'Willow Ceremonies' & The Beginning Of Something New

Willow Ceremonies will soon be merging completely with The Temple of Cornwall. Whilst I am sad to close this phase of Willow Ceremonies, I'm also incredibly excited about everything else to happen. Think of this as more like a change of name...we'll still be offering all the same beautiful services, just with The Temple of Cornwall now. This is all to make your Handfasting ceremonies even more magical and powerful than before.

From the 14th April, this website will close, and we will stop using the email and social platforms for Willow Ceremonies. If you have any ceremonial inquiries then they can now be sent to [email protected]

Thankyou to all of my previous couples. you truly have helped to shape Willow Ceremonies into what it is now becoming, and I am eternally grateful to you for that.

And to our future couples, we cannot wait to meet you.

We’ve all faced that moment when we realise that sacred space does not always equal a safe space

⚡

And unless it is something catastrophic that made you realise that, then the realisation usually comes about because of the practitioner. They may not be trauma informed but conduct womb healing. They might have an ego stronger than their gifts and conjure an energy they know not how to direct. Sometimes it can simply be they don’t know how to hold space. And this is a big issue that I don’t want to tackle in an Instagram post, but the issue is there, nonetheless.

And I bring this up now because I’m seeing it more and more in the spiritual community, and this community is supposed to be our safe space.

When I first dedicated as a Ceremonial Priestess (nearly 6 years ago now!) I made some vows, and one of those was the vow to create sacred AND safe space

I made this vow because ceremonies are created to move you and shift you into a different energetic frequency, and this can be quite a daunting thing for some people! Because of this, I vow to always make my ceremonies and offerings a safe & loving place for you to make those necessary shifts. Knowing that you are held in a loving place allows you to relax into the ceremony and experience all that you need to feel.

Here’s the truth, I wouldn’t be a Ceremonial Priestess without you

Who am I as a Ceremonial Priestess without the beautiful souls that use my services? I value the relationship between Priestess and couple or family, understanding that at times I will be asked to take on an almost 'pastoral' role. I’m here for the communities that need me.

To heed the call and become a Ceremonial Priestess is to be called into service of those that need you, and I very happily devote myself to this.

~ Meet Rebecca ~ Sacred Celebrant & Ceremonial Priestess

Nearly 30 years ago I was born in Northern England, but there was another land that was singing to my soul...and that land was Cornwall. When the stars had aligned, I packed my bags and my dog into my car, and followed the song in my heart until I reached my beloved homeland of Cornwall. I've lost track of time around the Merry Maidens aplenty, I've gazed out to the Celtic Sea on a summers day more times than I can count; I know just how lucky I am to live in this paradise, appreciating Kernow in all her glory every single day.

In 2018, I felt the energies of a new life path beginning to open up before me. That is when my soul was led to my beloved mentor, Dawn Kinsella and her Sacred Celebrant Academy. Dawn and her Ceremonial Priestess teachings changed my life, and they helped me to shape myself into the woman that I am thankful to be today.

Since completing my training with Dawn in 2019, I have since founded The Temple of Cornwall, a spiritual Temple devoted to the wild energies of Cornwall and its Celtic roots.

I live my life with the lavaren (Cornish for mantra/phrase/affirmation) 'How can I weave love into this moment?'. Why would I not approach my time on Earth loving everything that surrounds me? The best things in life will always happen when you live in Love.

I am Rebecca, the guardian of Willow Ceremonies. Willow Ceremonies is the ceremonial branch of The Temple of Cornwall, of which I am the Mother Priestess.

I was trained in the vocation of Sacred Celebrancy and Ceremonial Priestessing by the Priestess’ of Avalon in Glastonbury, the heart chakra of Mother Earth.
