We're delighted to announce the Overall Winners of the 54 Hole Challenge for each playing category at this year's Links of Donegal Challenge; played across three stunning courses including Portsalon Links, the Glashedy Links at Ballyliffin and the Sandy Hills Links at Rosapenna.

Congratulations to Paul McGuigan of Foyle Golf Centre on claiming victory in a very tough Gross Section with a 4 stroke lead over second placed Kyle Holmes of Portstewart Golf Club and third place Adrian Hiney of Moate GolfClub. Luke Bradley of Greencastle Golf Club takes fourth place in a break of tie over Patrick McCarville of Clones Golf Club who finishes in fifth. Our 2025 Champion, Michael Buggy of Castlecomer Golf Club, takes sixth spot over Garry McGrotty of Rathmore Golf Club in seventh with Anthony Thompson of Castleknock Golf Club finishing in eighth. The final place on the leaderboard goes to our 2024 Champion and 2025 runner up, Ben Best of Rathmore Golf Club.

Congratulations to Sean Hensey of Portsalon Golf Club on winning first place in Category 1 with a 3 point lead over second placed Matt Willis of Dungannon Golf Club. Third place goes to Michael Chambers of The Royal Dublin Golf Club who also had a great week on the Par 3's with two nearest the pins and a Hole In One on the 3rd at Rosapenna!! James Morrissey of Wexford Golf Club takes fourth place by a single point ahead of Declan Hughes of Templepatrick Golf Club. Chris Duffy of Letterkenny Golf Club takes sixth place in a break of tie over previous champion (and current Irish Parklands Champion) David Watson of St. Patricks Golf Club. Eighth place is won by Kevin Murphy of Newbridge Golf Club with the final spot on the leaderboard going to John McGuirk of Clones Golf Club. Congrats to all the players in what was a very tightly contested section. ๐

Congratulations to Michael Cullingworth of Westport Golf Club who takes first place in Category 2 through a break of tie over Shane Martin of Lee Valley Golf Club. Consistent golf across the week sees Jack Forbes of St. Patrick's Golf Club take third place ahead of Paul McDaid of North West Golf Club. Colin Ryan of Shannon Golf Club claims fifth place through a break of tie over Joe McMahon of Killeen Castle in sixth and Mark O'Loughlin of Cahir Park in seventh. Eighth & Ninth places were also decided through countbacks with Aidan Lee of Gowran Park narrowly beating Mark Casey of Shannon Golf Club.

Congratulations to David Reid of Lambeg Golf Club on claiming victory with a 3 point lead over second placed Thomas Price of Crossgar Golf Club. This is David's second win after being crowned the 2024 Overall Cat 3 Champion ๐. Third place goes to Gerry McCullough of Ballyclare Golf Club with a 3 point lead over Noel Ryan of Ennis Golf Club. Fifth place goes to Declan Grimes of Castlereagh Hills with the next three places being decided by break of ties. Terry Brady of City of Belfast Golf Club takes sixth place ahead of Connor Hyland of Edenmore House and Brian McClements of Crossgar. The final spot on the leaderboard goes to Thomas Delaney of Lambeg Golf Club.

All results have now been announced across the three Individual Course Challenges (84 Prizes), the Overall 54 Hole Leaderboards (36 Prizes) and the Daily Tournament Extras (18 Prizes), with a total of โฌ27,700 being awarded across the three days of the event.
